TRUE Construction LLC is a Texas commercial general contractor built on something deeper than concrete — three generations of craftsmanship, applied to the standards commercial clients demand.

 

My name is Uzziah Rodriguez. I founded TRUE Construction in 2025 to bring disciplined craft and clear communication to commercial projects across Texas.

 

My journey in construction started long before that — when I was just 10 years old. I grew up on jobsites alongside my father and grandfather, watching them lead concrete projects with pride, discipline, and pace. Those early days shaped the way I see construction today: not just as work, but as a craft to be carried forward with integrity.

  • Bachelor of Science in Construction Science & Management — University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA)

  • Architectural coursework — Texas Tech University

  • OSHA 30 Certified

  • Trained in BIM, 3D laser scanning, MEP coordination, and Revit modeling

I’ve had the privilege of supporting major Texas infrastructure and public-sector projects, including:

 

  • Design and construction management support for the Capital Mall in Austin

  • Development of the BIM and 3D Scanning program standards for the Texas Facilities Commission

  • Authoring the State of Texas’ first 3D Scanning RFP, paving the way for agencies like Texas A&M, UT Austin, and TxDOT

  • Assisting TxDOT with permitting and compliance for safer transportation and mobility infrastructure
