The APM works closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to help plan, coordinate, and oversee concrete projects from start to finish — ranging from residential foundations and flatwork to commercial and municipal pours.

This position offers direct exposure to estimating, scheduling, field operations, and client coordination. TRUE Construction will provide mentorship, training, and clear advancement opportunities for the right candidate.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Support takeoffs, quantity tracking, and cost management for concrete scopes of work.

  • Help review and interpret drawings, specifications, and rebar/concrete details.

  • Track RFIs, submittals, and material orders; ensure timely approval and delivery of materials.

  • Maintain organized project documentation through shared drives and Procore (training provided).

  • Conduct field walks and inspections with supervision to verify work progress and quality.

  • Participate in pre-pour meetings and ensure site readiness, formwork accuracy, and safety compliance.

  • Assist in preparing subcontractor scopes, purchase orders, and change order logs.

  • Coordinate delivery schedules for ready-mix, reinforcing steel, formwork, and embedded materials.

  • Help monitor safety compliance, jobsite cleanliness, and adherence to project standards.

  • Attend weekly coordination and progress meetings, taking notes and distributing updates.

  • Support closeout activities such as punch lists, as-builts, and photo documentation.

Perform other related duties as assigned; this description is not all-inclusive.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 0–3 years of experience in construction, preferably in concrete or field operations.

  • Understanding of construction drawings, rebar schedules, and basic takeoff methods.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and project management tools (Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar).
