About the Role
TRUE Construction is seeking a hardworking and reliable Construction Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of construction projects—from planning and budgeting to field coordination and final delivery. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a deep understanding of construction means, methods, and safety practices and has a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
Essential Responsibilities
Manage all phases of assigned construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
Oversee daily operations at project sites and ensure all work complies with drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.
Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules and ensure progress aligns with key milestones.
Prepare and manage project budgets, estimates, and cost forecasts; track expenses and approve invoices.
Coordinate subcontractors, trades, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely and high-quality performance.
Conduct regular site meetings with project inspectors, engineers, architects, and owners to review progress and address issues.
Identify and mitigate potential risks, conflicts, or delays; implement corrective actions as needed.
Review, approve, and process submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
Ensure all professionals on-site follow building codes, OSHA standards, and company safety policies.
Maintain daily logs, progress photos, and reporting for internal tracking and client communication.
Maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure finished projects meet TRUE Construction’s quality expectations.
Mentor assistant managers, superintendents, and field staff to promote growth and accountability.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (equivalent experience accepted).
5+ years of progressive experience in construction management, site supervision, or general contracting.
In-depth knowledge of construction means, methods, materials, building codes, and inspection requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and construction management software (Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar).
Ability to read, interpret, and manage plans, specifications, and contracts.
Strong organizational, scheduling, and communication skills.
